Sanibel Island Vacation Diary - January 2007In January, 2007 we took a "surprise" trip to Sanibel Island. We normally travel to Sanibel during the summer months, so this was our first real opportunity to see the island during the winter. We definitely found some differences between winter and summer on Sanibel, aside from the obvious temperature change. The lack of school age children, and the abundance of "seasoned citizens" was perhaps the most obvious difference. But there were other, subtle differences as well.
