Sanibel Island Vacation Diary - January 19, 2007The alarm went off at 5 a.m., just as I was starting to get some good sleep. We got up and I ate some of my leftover Lighthouse Cafe pancakes. I couldn't eat all of them, and was sad when I had to throw the rest out. We loaded up the car and pulled out at 5:40 a.m. Traffic in Fort Myers was heavy since it was a workday. In previous years we had left on a Saturday or Sunday, so traffic had been much lighter. We reached home at 3:45 p.m., fortunately avoiding what could have been nasty downtown Atlanta traffic.
