Sanibel Moorings CondosPrior to coming to Sanibel Island for the first time, my wife made inquiries with many different rental condos, hotels, cottages to find just the right place for us. We wanted accommodations that provided comfort, great beach access and the right price. We were fortunate enough to pick Sanibel Moorings. Sanibel Moorings are condominiums that you can rent by the day, week or month. They have one, two and three bedroom condos, featuring one or two baths. All the condos are fully furnished, with complete kitchens so you have the choice to stay in and cook. There is daily linen service (except Sundays), maid service and laundry facilities. They have a business center next to the main office that has computer, phone, fax and internet services. Other amenities offered at Sanibel Moorings are video rentals, a reading library, BBQ area, shelling tours and horticultural tours. The complex itself is beautiful. Many of the plants and trees have markers placed next to them so you can learn the names of the different species. There are walkways throughout the property.
Sanibel Moorings has beach chairs for your use every day. There is an air hose available by the pool to blow up your rafts and other beach toys.
The walkways to the beach offer a foot sprinkler to wash your feet before walking back to your condo. Sometimes it just nice to have it there when it is unbelievable hot on the walkway and you don't have any sandals on!
