Island Cow Restaurant Review
What do cows have to do with Sanibel Island? As far as I know there aren't any live cows actually living and grazing on Sanibel Island, but there is one Island Cow restaurant that is alive and well.Great casual dining atmosphere and good food with big portions. The specialty of this eating establishment are the awesome muffins served with each meal. All different varieties of muffins and boy are they good!! Cows are the theme and they are everywhere!!
I always get the fried shrimp basket which is always wonderful. Good french fries and awesome cocktail sauce. Fred enjoys the large
sandwich selections from the menu and has tried many. Large drinks and they are good at keeping your drink full. Good service.There is a gift shop for those of you who want to take the atmosphere home with them! HUGE MENU, prices range from $5.95 to $17.00. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Island Cow is located on the left side of the road as you come from the causeway and is a small white building. They have seating outside with fans to help keep you cool. The parking lot is large, you will have no problem finding a space. But keep in mind this is a very popular restaurant and it fills up quickly.
