RedFish BluFish Restaurant ReviewThis restaurant is very different from other eateries on Sanibel Island. Their motto is "See Art. Eat Art. Be Art." Personally I don't want to eat art, I just want to eat good food. The portions of food are more in line with tapas portions than a full course meal. You can order three courses (or two if you are looking at the prices as I did) but what you get is a very small amount of food for a very large price. The restaurant is very small with about 10-12 tables. Very intimate but close to your neighbor seating. It is decorated in a very artsy, eclectic way with splashes of color. There are paper tablecloths which to me, for the prices, were out of place. There were also trivial pursuit cards on the table, I assume placed for entertainment, were also out of place at this restaurant.
The service was fine. Prices per course range from $8.00 to $12.00. If you like eclectic food choices you will really enjoy this place. I was still hungry when I left, not satisfied at all. Hello Dairy Queen on the way home! RedFish BluFish is located at 751 Tarpon Bay Road. It was formerly the Twilight Cafe (which we adored!!).
