Matzaluna Restaurant Review
This is a very popular restaurant on the island. It is family friendly and the restaurant is very large with two levels. It serves traditional Italian food and the bread is baked daily and served with a tasty garlic spread. We found the restaurant to be very noisy and the service not the best, especially concerning the drink refills.
I ordered the cheese ravioli which was good. Fred had chicken parmesan which he said was okay. The salad was limp and brown, as if it had been sitting unrefrigerated for quite a while. I couldn't eat it.The restaurant is open 7 days a week from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. There is a happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30. They have drink specials and house wine served with 99 cent pizza slices at the bar. The Matzaluna restaurant is easy to find. It's a very large white building that sits back from the road on the right side as you come from the causeway. The parking lot is very large. Good signage at the roadway, you won't miss it. Customers will walk up one flight of stairs to get to the entrance of the restaurant. Located at 1200 Periwinkle Way. Phone: 239-472-1998. Takeout is available. SUSAN RATING: ** Rating System
