Ellington's Jazz Bar and Restaurant Review
This is such a fun place! Great food and a terrific setting. Live jazz music beginning at 7:00 p.m. each evening. Enjoy your wonderful meal accompanied by great music! Entrees include fresh steaks, seafood and pasta dishes. Prices range from $12.00 to $38.00. A little pricey but the overall experience is wonderful.I had a shrimp scampi pasta dish that was very good. I also had a salad with my meal.
They bring bread to the table. Fred enjoyed a filet with all the trimmings. We enjoyed a chocolate dessert with a decadent fudge sauce and fresh fruit.
The music was just wonderful when we recently had dinner at Ellington's. We were probably one of the youngest couples there that night but it didn't matter to us. It was such a nice experience and we enjoyed watching the very talented jazz ensemble.If you plan to eat on a Friday or Saturday night I would highly recommend making a reservation, the restaurant fills up very quickly. I would do this even if it is not season.
When you enter the Sanibel Inn Resort veer to the left and Ellington's is the large white building on the left at the tennis courts. Parking is beside the building.
