Casa Ybel Resort

This resort sits on 23 acres of beachfront property. This all condo property is on the site of the first beachfront hotel on Sanibel Island, the Thistle Lodge. The Thistle Lodge is now the restaurant on the property.
There are 114 luxurious accommodations with one and two-bedroom suites with Gulf of Mexico views. Rooms include fully equipped kitchens, coffee maker with tea and coffee, private balcony, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, TV, DVD/VHS players, clock radio and hairdryers.

This resort has an olympic size swimming pool, kiddy pool, bicycle rentals, six newly resurfaced tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, boating and fishing, nature sanctuary with bird pond and of course the spectacular beachfront. Beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available.

There are two restaurants on the property. Casual dining and drinks will be found at Coconut's Poolside Cafe and Bar. Seafood and steaks for a more hearty meal can be found at the Thistle Lodge.
