Periwinkle Cottages of Sanibel

The Periwinkle Cottages of Sanibel are adjacent to the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. This area is perfect for bird lovers and visitors who love the natural beauty of the west end of the island.

These vintage 1959 attached cottages are comfortably furnished and have been updated for your use and enjoyment. These delightful cottages are only about 300 yards from the beautiful, white sandy beaches. If you choose not to walk to the beach, you may drive and use the private beach access for no charge.

Complimentary bicycles will make it easy to get around the island and explore. There are 26 miles of bikes trail for your use on Sanibel Island.

There are four cottages for you to choose from: The Sandpiper which is a 1 bedroom unit, The Ibis which is a large one bedroom with porch, The Egret which is a large one bedroom with porch and The Heron which is a deluxe 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with porch.

Each cottage is non-smoking and this includes the porches (awesome!) pet free, and has ceiling fans, cable TV, VCR/DVD/CD players, high-speed internet access, complete kitchen, linens, beach chairs, umbrella and charcoal grill.

They have on site a free lending library of videos, books, games and puzzles. There are shell-cleaning tables to clean your finds of the day. Laundry facilities are on site for your use.
